Visiting a museum with children<\/strong> becomes much more interesting if Cal.ligrama Bcn organizes a game of “finding evidence”. We signed up to get to know the MEAM, European Museum of Modern Art<\/strong> \u00a0in Borne in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Cal.ligrama Bcn\u00a0<\/span>are Ariadne and Gemma … two enthusiasts of the art in all its forms and the architects of introducing to children\u00a0the works of the European Museum of Modern Art<\/strong> in Barcelona as if they were Tintin … in the search for\u00a0the treasure! .<\/p>\n

We did not know the\u00a0MEAM<\/strong>, so it was a pleasant surprise, both for the children and for us. The European Museum of Modern Art is located at Palacio Gomis, a beautiful building with the only modernist entrance of Ciutat Vella<\/strong>. The works on display represent the contemporary figurative art. And for those who do not know what it is … you have some pictures that illustrate it perfectly.<\/p>\n

The children workshop consisted in locating the clues<\/strong> that were hidden in different corners. The children had to use the “tools” they were encountering and filling\u00a0the “roadmap”.<\/p>\n

Children were going\u00a0from side to side searching\u00a0behind\u00a0the sculptures, guessing where the next clues were hidden, observing the paintings\u00a0to see if they could help them and listening to the stories told by Ariadna and Gemma.<\/p>\n

They had a great time and in the end they were converted in artists themselves.

This Sunday 16 of February\u00a0there is a new workshop.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Don\u00b4t \u00a0miss it: from\u00a012 to 13:30h. Age: from\u00a05 to 12 a\u00f1os<\/span>.
