And also free. We discovered it by accident last summer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_031.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_031.jpg\" alt=\"BCNColours_fonts_montjuic_03\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last summer they came to visit us some friends who live in Ronda (M\u00e1laga), and together we made a tour through\u00a0Barcelona. With the desire to show them\u00a0the whole city, when we got to <strong>Montju\u00efc fountains<\/strong>\u00a0it was late and the kids were really tired. In a nearby bar we bought some sandwiches and juices to takeaway, and the kids had dinner watching the show\u00a0of water, lights and music of the fountains. It was a success!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_011.jpg\" alt=\"BCNColours_fonts_montjuic_01\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year we decided to repeat the experience but in a little better way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_021.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_021.jpg\" alt=\"BCNColours_fonts_montjuic_02\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We met with\u00a0more friends with kids, all with luxury picnic brought from home. Instead of arriving\u00a0at the time that the show starts, we were there before, so as to be able talk while the kids played with skates. There is plenty of space, but the buses are coming and the tourists will take their seat\u00a0early.<br \/>\nSee how are the stairs and the bars around the fountains. Filled to the brim!<a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_061.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_061.jpg\" alt=\"BCNColours_fonts_montjuic_06\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A good idea is to combine the show of the <strong>Fountains of\u00a0Montjuic<\/strong> with the visit to a museum (You can visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/2013\/08\/26\/mnac-y-alrededores\/\" target=\"_blank\">MNAC<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/2013\/04\/15\/seducidos-por-el-arte-en-caixaforum-bcn\/\" target=\"_blank\">CaixaForum<\/a>,\u00a0both options are a 5 minute walk and super recommended).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_mnac031.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2198\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_mnac031.jpg\" alt=\"bcncolours_MNAC03\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Pavillion <a href=\"http:\/\/barcelonacultura.bcn.cat\/es\/cultura-tv\/turismo-en-tu-ciudad-pavellon-mies-van-der-rohe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mies Van der Rohe<\/a> is at 2 minutes from the fountains\u00a0and you can also visit it. Another interesting option is to make time visiting\u00a0the nearby <a href=\"www.arenasdebarcelona.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mall\u00a0Las Arenas.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/img_41171.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1738 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/img_41171.jpg\" alt=\"Mall Las Arenas\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Or spend the afternoon at <a href=\"www.poble-espanyol.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Poble Espanyol<\/a> and go to the\u00a0Magic Fountains when you are leaving, they are very close.<br \/>\nWe prefered go\u00a0directly in the fountains\u00a0and prepare the picnic in a fairly quiet area, on the lawn, where we could watch the show while younger children were running around under surveillance, but without any\u00a0danger of being lost among the crowd.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_081.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_081.jpg\" alt=\"BCNColours_fonts_montjuic_08\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can see that it is becoming night.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_091.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_091.jpg\" alt=\"BCNColours_fonts_montjuic_09\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Magic Fountain of Montju\u00efc<\/strong> offers musical\u00a0choreographies of water and\u00a0sound. The music is for all publics: Disney songs, movie soundtracks, remixes from last year, nineties music, classical music &#8230; etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_1011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2628\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/bcncolours_fonts_montjuic_1011.jpg\" alt=\"BCNColours_fonts_montjuic_10\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The people\u00a0visiting the fountains is\u00a0also equally varied: you can see people of all ages and conditions.
