We\u00b4ve been there when we were kids but since then we had not gone back and whenever we were in the area we were saying that we had to return. So the other day, taking advantage of the fact that the children had not yet started school, we took the bikes and we headed to Barceloneta. At last, we were going to go up in the cable car!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Book your tickets:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/teleferico_monjuic_tyckets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Barcelona Cable Car in Montju\u00efc<\/a><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><strong>BARCELONA CABLE CAR IN MONTJU\u00cfC <\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The cable car was built in 1926 designed to connect\u00a0the 1929s exhibition with its maritime part. It connects\u00a0Barceloneta with\u00a0Montjuic mountain crossing\u00a0nearly 1300 meters in about ten minutes. The two towers that hold it up the one in Barceloneta, the Tower of San Sebasti\u00e1n,is\u00a078 meters high, and the other, \u00a0the Tower of Jaume I which is next to\u00a0the sea,\u00a0is 107 meters high.<\/p>\n<p>We bought a round trip ticket from\u00a0the tower of San Sebastian to Miramar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2862\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/img_09811.jpg\" alt=\"Telef\u00e9rico del Port\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Arriving at the ticket\u00a0office they\u00a0immediately gave us <strong>priority for going with young children<\/strong> saving us the long queue of tourists under the blazing sun. It is something\u00a0that they always do so it is totally\u00a0family welcome.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><strong>KIDS FRIENDLY ACTIVITY<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As we went with our bikes we didn\u00b4t know if we could go up with them or we should leave them out. Given that the two adult bikes are folding they left us bring them up to the platform where they kept them in the staff room, including everything else we had with us. <strong>The staff was really kind all the\u00a0time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Going up on the elevator is a first impression of what you will see late. The children hallucinated.\u00a0 Arriving at\u00a0the platform we had to wait a little bit on the queue\u00a0but it was very pleasant. Seeing your city from 78 meters high is amazing and also the weather was perfect.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2864 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/aapicmonkey-collage4.jpg\" alt=\"Telef\u00e9rico del Puerto\" width=\"640\" height=\"320\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2865 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/apicmonkey-collage11.jpg\" alt=\"Vistas desde el teleferico\" width=\"640\" height=\"320\" \/><br \/>\nThe\u00a0cabin has a capacity of\u00a0up to 15 people, so it is ideal to be among the first to get in so as to be next to the\u00a0window.
