If you\u00a0walk through the Borne and you\u00a0want to eat something simple but\u00a0of good quality in a\u00a0charming terrace<\/strong> then you have to\u00a0try the restaurant Espai Mesclad\u00eds<\/strong>.
\nWe stumbled upon this place by chance one day when we were on route in Ciutat Vella. It is somehow hidden under\u00a0some arches\u00a0next to a covered passage, yet it is very close to the street Commerce.<\/p>\n

The food is varied, you can have\u00a0dishes from all around the world and all made with local and fair trade products. <\/strong>On weekdays they have\u00a0a very affordable menu from \u20ac 7,60.- that worth trying.<\/p>\n

The place is comfortable and spacious so there is\u00a0no problem to go with a stroller. We could leave our bikes close to our\u00a0table.<\/p>\n

The restaurant is decorated with different pieces of furniture that gives a cheerful and colorful touch.<\/p>\n

But the best of the place, and this is something I\u00a0discovered when I got back home and checked its web, is that through\u00a0this restaurant and other activities an\u00a0important work of social and labor insertion is made\u00a0using the kitchen as a tool to “cook opportunities”<\/strong>. We recommend that you enter on the\u00a0website \u00a0and \u00a0find\u00a0out everything they do.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And after eating\u00a0you can always go to\u00a0the park that there is next to it, for the kids to run for a while, it is a huge park where you can also see some urban gardens.
\n(The photos I took of the park are terrible\u00a0\u00a0so it\u00b4s best not to\u00a0put them!)<\/p>\n
