Visiting Catalunya en Miniatura is always a great plan. It is spacious, surrounded by nature and just a few minutes from Barcelona<\/strong>. It has different spaces for all interests: the model area, adventures in the trees, a picnic area for resting, restaurant… And to round off the day, don’t miss the train circuit around the park. ANIMATED FOREST. ADVENTURE CIRCUIT<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The adventure circuits are set in the middle of the<\/strong> trees. One for the youngest children, one for kids over eight years old and one for older kids and adults.<\/p>\n

It’s a great plan for everyone. The kids have a great time walking on the ropes, climbing and jumping on the zip-line. For the older ones, it gets more complicated, and the route is much longer and more emotional.<\/p>\n

The adult tour is a challenge for everyone. A highly recommended experience if you want to test your skills on the trees. Great activity for the whole family to have a great time, the kids will be amazed to see you “climb” along the circuit… it’s not easy, but it’s worth it!<\/p>\n

ONE OF THE LARGEST ZIP-LINES NEAR BARCELONA<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The route is long and, depending on how fast you are, can take about an hour and a bit to do the whole thing. But the effort is worth it, and\u00a0after the whole circuit, the climax is the 150-metre zip line, which is 9 metres above the ground<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s a pleasure to let yourself fall to travel at maximum speed along this enormous zip-line, 150 metres long, with a maximum height of 30 metres. Just… enjoy!<\/p>\n

RESTAURANT AND PICNIC AREA<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

After the tour, take the opportunity to have lunch. You have two options:\u00a0you can take your picnic with you and eat in the picnic area of the park, or you can eat in the park’s cafeteria\/restaurant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Eating in the restaurant is very pleasant as it has a large terrace where you can relax outdoors. It’s worth checking out all the menu options on offer as they are very good value for money if you buy them together with your ticket. They offer sandwich packs or menu trays.<\/p>\n

MODELS EXHIBITION<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

It is one of the best-known areas of the park. The model exhibition is a 25,000 m2 map of Catalonia in “real” reality, where you will become a giant. You will discover the geography, architecture and culture on a pleasant walk in the middle of nature.<\/p>\n

The park has more than 150 models divided by regions: Gerona, Tarragona, Barcelona and Lleida.<\/p>\n

The kids will enjoy recognising many of Barcelona’s most famous buildings: La Pedrera, the Sagrada Familia, the Cathedral, the King’s square, Monserrat Mountain and, of course, Camp Nou.<\/p>\n

Many of the models have buttons that operate some part of it: a fire engine extinguishes a fire, the ski lifts on the ski slopes, the boats in the harbour or planes at the airport…<\/p>\n

All the models are surrounded by vegetation, which creates a beautiful environment. You can walk around and enjoy the landscape and the models at your own pace, without rushing, without crowds thanks to the huge space where they are located. Children can run while they enjoy and get to know different places and monuments in Catalonia.<\/p>\n

TRAIN RIDE<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

And to round off the day, we took the\u00a0train that circles the model exhibition and from where you can see the whole park<\/strong>. The kids enjoy it tremendously and it’s a perfect attraction to see the whole park from the heights while resting after a super full day.<\/p>\n

The train ride of about 10 minutes<\/strong> during which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire model circuit.The price is 2.00 euros\/adult and 1.50 euros\/child per way.<\/p>\n

A PLAN FOR FAMILIES NEAR BARCELONA<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Visiting Catalonia in Miniature is a plan for families. You’ll have a bit of everything: culture, fun, exercise and relaxation, making it the perfect day out for children and adults alike.<\/p>\n

The park staff is very attentive, and the children are the stars of the show. You will be surprised how much they enjoy discovering many of the buildings and spaces in the model area.<\/p>\n

And the best thing is that all this is\u00a0a family plan near Barcelona, as Catalunya en Miniatura is less than 20 minutes from Barcelona,<\/strong>\u00a0so it is a very convenient plan for a day trip.<\/p>\n

HOW TO GET TO CATALUNYA EN MINIATURA<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

If you come by car from Barcelona,<\/strong> B-23 (Diagonal) direction Lleida until exit 5 take the A-2 until exit 602 direction Sant Vicens dels Horts and follow the signs to Torrelles de Llobregat, when you arrive you will see Catalunya en miniatura. Or also if you leave from Diagonal:\u00a0\u00a0(Ronda litoral direction Llobregat) Follow the Ronda until it joins the A-2 direction Lleida\u00a0 then take exit 602 direction Sant Vicens dels Horts and follow signs to Torrelles de Llobregat, when you arrive you will see Catalunya in miniature.<\/p>\n

There is a huge parking area on arrival at the park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you prefer public transport:<\/strong>\u00a0At the FGC ticket office, you can buy a COMBINED TICKET which includes FGC+bus+park entrance for 14\u20ac\/adult and 10\u20ac\/child (round trip).At the Rodalies RENFE ticket offices you can buy a COMBINED TICKET that includes RENFE Rodalies + bus + ticket to the park from \u20ac10\/child and \u20ac14.00\/adult (round trip).<\/p>\n

From Barcelona, you can also take a bus from the company “Soler i Sauret” line 62. The departure is in c\/ Riera Blanca on the corner of Travesera de las Corts.<\/p>\n
