The festivities of <\/span>Santa Eulalia return in 2025, celebrating the patron saint of Barcelona.<\/b> From February 9th to 12th, the city is filled with activities for all ages. The Feast of Santa Eulalia is Barcelona’s Winter Major Festival, second only to the <\/span>Festes de la Merc\u00e8<\/span><\/a>, and is dedicated to Santa Eulalia, co-patroness of the city. The giantess Laia, Laia and Laieta from Pla\u00e7a Nova, Laia and Elisenda from El Pi, Lola from El Arrabal, or Maria La Nieta from Barceloneta, among other giants, gather at the Palau de la Virreina to reclaim Santa Eul\u00e0lia as the patroness of Barcelona and pay tribute to all Barcelona women.<\/span> From February 3rd to 12th, from 10 am to 8 pm. During these Santa Eulalia festivities, you cannot miss the Casa de los Entremeses, a building where it’s a party all year round. There you will find many of the main groups of the winter festival and all their figures, although not all will be present. You will find the children’s giants in the Pati Manning, the giantesses in the Palau de la Virreina, and the children’s bestiary in the City Council.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you ever seen a museum of giants, beasts, and big heads? These are the Houses of the Feast, and in Barcelona, we have a dozen of them scattered throughout the city. <\/span>From 10 am to 8 pm. Closed on Mondays and Sundays. Permanent exhibition: “Barcelona festive imagery: giants, big heads, bestiary, and puppets.” Temporary exhibition: “In February, Santa Eul\u00e0lia.” From February 7th to March 31st. For more than twenty years, the children’s giants of the city have gathered in the Patio Manning of the Casa de la Caritat to prepare for the Santa Eul\u00e0lia festivities. But it’s not just the giants from various neighborhoods of the city! You will also find dozens of giants, beasts, bugs, tadpoles, easels, and dragons from the schools of Barcelona, accompanying children in their educational lives and providing a perfect immersion in the festivities and traditions of the city. <\/span>From February 3rd to 9th, from 10 am to 8 pm. The parade will start a<\/span>t 11:30 am, departing from Pla\u00e7a dels \u00c0ngels and ending around 1:00 pm at Pla\u00e7a de Sant Jaume.<\/b><\/p>\n

Correfoc of the Little Devils and Small Beasts<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Fire Festival is a feast for the senses with the percussion of drums, the smell of gunpowder, and the light of sparks. And children manage to have a tailor-made party, although it’s specially designed for the little ones, it’s not without risks. Remember! It’s necessary to dress in long-sleeved cotton clothes that cover the entire body. It’s also important to wear suitable footwear for running when needed. Muestra de Esbarts Infantiles y Juveniles<\/b><\/h3>\n

Show of Children’s and Youth Esbarts Santa Eul\u00e0lia is the city’s small main festival, and the youngest ones take center stage. Therefore, the children’s sections of the dance groups of Barcelona take a step forward and celebrate their dance. The twenty dance groups in the city will offer us a series of dances performed by the youngest members of each dance group. The show will take place on two different days. On Saturday, you can enjoy the dances of Esbart Sant Mart\u00ed, Esbart Maragall, Esbart Ciutat Comtal, and Esbart Catal\u00e0 de Dansaires. On Sunday, it will be the turn of Esbart Joventut Nostra, Esbart Vila de Gr\u00e0cia, Esbart Sant Jordi, and the Ballets de Catalunya. Day: Saturday, February 10th, and Sunday, February 11th.
