We visited\u00a0Bab\u00e8lia Books & Coffee<\/strong>,\u00a0a bookstore-cafe specializing in second-hand multilingual books.<\/p>\n

The place has a special charm thanks to its simple and cozy decoration, based on a large wall full of books in all languages<\/strong>\u200b\u200b, facing another big brick wall with temporal\u00a0paintings exhibitions.<\/p>\n

In the center, a hipster and international clientele of all ages, have a coffee, work on their computer, read, etc..<\/p>\n

USED \u200b\u200bBOOKS FROM 2 EUROS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second-hand books displayed on shelves of Bab\u00e9lia\u00a0are perfectly identified for purchase: there are books from 2 euros to 8 euros.<\/p>\n

The books are neatly organized by language, topic, etc., as if it was\u00a0a library.<\/p>\n

We selected to read several books for children<\/strong>\u00a0 while\u00a0we were having our evening snack.<\/p>\n

ORIGINAL AND INTERNATIONAL PASTRY<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a wide range of gastronomic offer\u00a0in Bab\u00e9lia: you can have breakfast, lunch, a snack\u00a0or dinner<\/strong>. For our evening snack we tried the offer\u00a0of the day, which consisted of a coffee + Victoria Cake\u00a0for 2 euros. For the girls, we ordered juices and a homemade carrot cake which was delicious.<\/p>\n

It is also advisable to come to Bab\u00e9lia to have lunch : taking advantage of the offer of the day you can have\u00a0a salad, a sandwich, a drink and coffee for 8 euros<\/strong>. As for dinner, when we were leaving we saw that they were preparing some spicy sausage sandwiches for another table, that they looked delicious …<\/p>\n

BAB\u00c9LIA TO GO WITH KIDS<\/strong>
\nIn Bab\u00e9lia,\u00a0\u00a0apart from\u00a0having a space in their\u00a0library dedicated to children literature, from time to time they organize activities for children<\/strong>. In December they organized\u00a0a workshop for making badges\u00a0(there are photos on their Facebook).<\/p>\n

LANGUAGE EXCHANGE<\/strong>
\nFor the adults, we recommend Bab\u00e9lia\u00a0as a place to buy literature in English, French or German at a good pric<\/strong>e, or for language exchange<\/strong>. They have a pretty full board of ads!
