{"id":8156,"date":"2015-02-05T07:30:47","date_gmt":"2015-02-05T06:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/en\/?p=8156"},"modified":"2015-02-05T07:30:47","modified_gmt":"2015-02-05T06:30:47","slug":"dual-storytelling-orally-and-in-sign-language","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/en\/dual-storytelling-orally-and-in-sign-language\/","title":{"rendered":"Dual storytelling: orally and in sign language."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of Saturdays ago we were in the Public Library of Josep Pons, in a session of &#8220;dual&#8221; storytelling: orally and in sign language.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours_titulo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-8180\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours_titulo.jpg\" alt=\"cuentacuentos lengua signos\" width=\"705\" height=\"528\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours09.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-8166\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours09.jpg\" alt=\"cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours09\" width=\"705\" height=\"528\" \/><\/a>This activity is part of the initiative &#8220;<strong>Visquem els Contes<\/strong>&#8221; (we live the fairytales), an activity that organizes monthly the Library Josep Pons where everyone is invited.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours08.jpg\" alt=\"cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours08\" width=\"705\" height=\"528\" \/><\/a>The session <strong>&#8220;Fairytales explained with the hands&#8221;<\/strong> was a success. The children zone of the library was full of families wanting to enjoy a good storytelling session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours04.jpg\" alt=\"cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours04\" width=\"705\" height=\"528\" \/><\/a>The kids were amazed watching or listening to fairytales narrated\u00a0by Gloria in such an expressive way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours05.jpg\" alt=\"cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours05\" width=\"697\" height=\"539\" \/><\/a>In the storytelling session we learned clapping in sign language.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours10.jpg\" alt=\"cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours10\" width=\"705\" height=\"528\" \/><\/a>Upon arriving home, we entered in the website of the <a href=\"http:\/\/apansce.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Association of Parents of Deaf Children of Catalunya<\/a>, APANSCE, and we downloaded this postcard so as to learn more letters in sign language.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours01.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/barcelonacolours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/cuentancuentos_barcelona_colours01-1024x745.png\" alt=\"Cuentacuentos infantil en Barcelona\" width=\"737\" height=\"536\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>CAN BATLL\u00d3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Library Josep Pons is currently the largest, most versatile library and with the largest self-managed document base in Catalonia.
