Carnival 2025 is just around the corner, and Barcelona is getting ready to dive into a week full of color, music, and tradition. From February 27 to March 5, the city will offer a wide range of activities for all ages. One of the main events is the “Arribo” in the Sants neighborhood, where Queen Belluga and King Carnestoltes will officially kick off the festivities. In addition, various parades and processions will fill the streets with joy and costumes, giving families multiple options to enjoy this unique celebration together.

TIBICARNESTOLTES: Tibidabo Amusement Park kicks off its season on Saturday, March 1, with Tibicarnaval. Starting at 10:30 a.m., a marching band will welcome visitors, and at 11 a.m., a Carnival parade will begin, heading to Plaça dels Somnis, where a hot chocolate event will take place. Those who come in costume can enter a raffle for park tickets. Throughout the weekend, there will be a costume contest at 5 p.m. in Plaça del Jardí. The park will continue offering magical experiences with more than 30 attractions and shows. CCARNIVAL AT GRANJA AVENTURA PARK Celebrate Carnival at Granja Aventura Park with special activities such as the mask workshop led by expert Encarna Stoltes, where visitors can create their own masks to enjoy Carnival. All park staff will be in costume, and attendees are invited to discover this year’s chosen theme. Additionally, participants can follow the guidelines posted on the park’s Instagram, as following them during the celebration days will earn rewards. Spend a great day at Granja Aventura Park. CARNIVAL AT PORTAVENTURAPortAventura World celebrates its 30th anniversary with an epic Carnival from February 9 to March 17, 2025. Visitors can enjoy confetti-filled parades, vibrant shows, and a unique fusion of Rio de Janeiro and Venice Carnivals. The park will be specially decorated for the occasion, offering an unparalleled festive experience. Tickets are available from €40.
