BARCELONA DIBUIXA 2024

This new edition of Barcelona Dibuixa features an extensive program of activities designed for the whole family, from the youngest to adults. Over two days, different parts of the city will turn into spaces where art takes center stage, offering 37 free workshops in museums, schools, civic centers, and outdoor spaces.

The event is divided into two days: Saturday, October 19, which also includes evening activities for adults (from 7 PM to 11 PM), and Sunday, October 20, with daytime activities for the whole family

CREATIVITY AND DRAWING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The highlight of Barcelona Dibuixa is its diverse proposals. You will find workshops in different styles and formats that invite active and creative participation from the public. From humorous workshops to those that explore possible futures or the magic of medieval beasts, there is something for every kind of drawer, whether a beginner or experienced.

You can see all the workshops in the full program and search by the artist organizing it or by the location where it takes place.

DIFFERENT SPACES ACROSS THE CITY

Barcelona Dibuixa takes place in various venues across the city, including the Museu Picasso, Castell de Montjuïc, Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, DHUB. Disseny Hub Barcelona, EINA, Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona, Fabra i Coats, the Joan Miró Foundation, La Model, Museu Can Framis – Fundació Vila Casas, the Archaeology Museum of Catalonia, the History Museum of Barcelona (MUHBA), the History Museum of Catalonia, and the Music Museum of Barcelona, L’Auditori, as well as many civic centers that you can find on the website.

The Barcelona Dibuixa program not only includes workshops in indoor spaces. Creativity will also unfold outdoors, with activities in iconic locations such as Plaça de les Glòries, Sants Estació, and Passeig de Sant Joan. In each of these places, participants can enjoy outdoor artistic activities, ideal for enjoying the good weather and letting your imagination soar in a community setting.

Drawing as a Tool for Development

Barcelona Dibuixa also reminds us of the importance of drawing as a tool for personal and social development. Although often associated only with the artistic realm, drawing plays a fundamental role in education, helping young children develop their motor skills, creativity, and concentration. For this reason, the event also aims to promote the use of drawing in schools and daily life, fostering a visual culture that can benefit all citizens.

A PERFECT PLAN FOR FAMILIES WITH KIDS

If you love drawing or are simply looking for a different and creative activity to do as a family, Barcelona Dibuixa 2024 is an opportunity you can’t miss. With a wide range of workshops and activities for all ages, this event promises to be an unforgettable weekend full of art, collaboration, and, most importantly, fun.
