The Gracia Festival in Barcelona is one of the most important popular festivals in the city and the most fun that are organized in August in the city. From August 15 to 21, 2023, the entire Gracia neighborhood is filled with decorated streets, concerts, workshops and activities for children and adults.

THE GRACIA FESTIVAL 2023
The Gracia Festival returns another year with numerous activities for all audiences and its well-known decorated streets. More than 900 activities have been scheduled for the seven days of celebration in the different streets and squares, between August 15 and 21.
The Gracia Major Festival will keep, as usual, the decorated streets contest, where various streets and squares will participate in the competition to become the best decorated and take the first prize. This year, the Gracia festivals pay tribute to the Mozart and Verdi streets for their festive trajectory and will have 23 decorated streets, the same as last year.
LAS FIESTAS DE GRACIA IN BARCELONA
On August 15, a week full of celebrations and activities begins throughout the Gracia neighborhood that will last until the 21st.
CONTEST OF DECORATED STREETS AND SQUARES
The decoration of the streets, balconies and squares is the best part of the party. A prize is awarded every year for the best decoration for each category. The neighbors of the streets work all year for this moment. The theme is not known until the start of the festivities.
ENJOY THE DECORATION OF THE STREETS OF GRACIA 2023
It is highly recommended to walk and wander through all of them as they give a lot of color to the neighborhood. We recommend going the first days as the decoration gets damaged as the days go by and if you go with children, take advantage of the hours of less public influx as at some moments it can be very full and it is more difficult to move with children.
GRÀCIA FESTIVAL PROGRAM
Likewise, numerous activities are organized for all audiences. Some of the most notable activities are:

VISITS TO THE AIR RAID SHELTERS
During the festivals, guided visits will be made to the air-raid shelter in the Revolution Square. The visits will be limited to 15 people, with a duration of 30 minutes and a price of 3€. During the festival days, there will be an information panel in the Diamond Square, where reservations can be made and later a reservation phone and an email will be enabled for those interested in visiting the space during the rest of the year. On the History Workshop website, information on schedules and days will also be provided.
Visits will also be organized to the shelter in the Diamond Square and the Bell Tower.
CASA VICENS AT THE GRACIA FESTIVAL
This year, Gaudí’s first house opens again to the neighborhood with different activities for the major festival. On the one hand, they offer discounts on the price of tickets and family workshops so that everyone can make their own carnation tile with mixed technique on paper.
