We went for electric bikes so that everyone, including the youngest ones, could enjoy the ride without worrying about physical effort. The service was excellent from the very beginning: they helped us choose the best route for our needs and gave us detailed instructions on how to use the electric bikes.
VARIED ROUTES ACROSS L’EMPORDÀ
The route we took was simply spectacular. We rode along paths surrounded by fields, through charming rural areas and typical Empordà farmhouses. One of the highlights was reaching the Aiguamolls, a protected natural area with impressive biodiversity. There we spotted a wide variety of birds and, to the delight of the children, lots of turtles. It’s a peaceful environment, ideal for cycling at a relaxed pace, stopping to enjoy the landscape and connect with nature.
The tour also included a coastal section, where we passed by several beautiful beaches and enjoyed breathtaking views. Our guide, who knew the area inside out, shared interesting facts about the local flora and fauna, as well as stories and anecdotes from the region, making the experience even more engaging. The mix of sea, nature, and culture turned this outing into a fun and educational activity for kids.
One of the great advantages of this experience was the flexibility: the routes can be adapted in terms of duration and difficulty, allowing every family to enjoy the outing at their own pace. In our case, we chose a half-day route, perfect to combine with other activities or simply relax in the afternoon.
