STREET ESCAPE: “Gaudí and the Hidden Treasure”
Picture this: a map, a book full of clues, special tools, and a mysterious box. A hidden treasure. And you, your family or your group of friends, walking through the streets of Barcelona following the riddles Gaudí left behind in some of the city’s most iconic buildings. That’s what this game is about. A mix between an outdoor Escape Room and a cultural tour for little detectives ready to have a great time.

The starting (and ending) point is the Casa Batlló ticket office, where you’ll receive all the materials you need to start your mission. From there, you’ll embark on a 2.7 km route through the heart of Barcelona’s modernist district: the impressive Casa Milà (La Pedrera), the elegant Casa Fuster, the magical Casa de les Punxes… Each stop hides a secret, and each secret brings you closer to Gaudí’s mysterious treasure.
An outdoor Escape Room to discover Barcelona
This game is designed for groups of 2 to 20 people—perfect for families, groups of friends, special celebrations, or just a fun and different way to discover some of the city’s most iconic buildings. The minimum recommended age is 6 years old; however, after trying it, we believe kids aged 8 and up are the ones who can truly participate by solving the riddles and answering questions. That said, our youngest player still had a great time!

The best part is, there’s no rush. You can go at your own pace, stop for ice cream, take your time admiring the facades, or enjoy a quick break to recharge. It’s not a race—it’s a journey through Barcelona’s history told in a unique way, testing your knowledge of the city, your detective skills, and your teamwork.
The story behind the mystery
It all begins with a true story (with a legendary twist!): Casa Batlló was designed by Antoni Gaudí for the Batlló family. But when the owners, Josep Batlló and Amalia Godó, passed away, they sold the building with a curious clause: if a hidden treasure were ever found in the house, it had to be returned to the family. The treasure was never found… or was it?

Now it’s up to you to solve the mystery. Could the treasure be hidden in one of the curves of Gaudí’s facade? Maybe behind a stained glass window or under a mosaic? Only by solving the clues will you uncover the truth.
What’s included in the game?
When you arrive at Casa Batlló, you’ll receive a suitcase with everything you need for the Street Escape. Inside the suitcase, you’ll find:

- A book with clues and historical facts
- A route map
- Special tools (no spoilers—but they’re really cool!)
- A mysterious box that will accompany you on your adventure, with locks you’ll open as you solve the puzzles
All the materials are designed so that both kids and adults can enjoy, collaborate, and learn. Because yes, beyond the fun, this game is a fantastic way to explore Modernisme in an active and highly entertaining way.
A great family plan
“Gaudí and the Hidden Treasure” is more than just a game—it’s the perfect excuse to rediscover Barcelona with fresh eyes, to help kids learn without even realizing it, and to share a unique experience as a family. It blends history, culture, and outdoor fun, and guarantees two hours of laughter, teamwork, and surprise after surprise.

So now you know—if you’re looking for a unique plan this weekend, Gaudí’s treasure is waiting for you. Will you dare to try?
