Llet Nostra, the milk of the Catalan cooperatives, was born in 2003 when farmers from Catalonia decided to sell their milk directly to the consumer. Since then, their milk is produced by livestock families from small and medium farms that are part of cooperatives in the country.

Take advantage of the Open Day that will take place at the Llet Nostra #Aprop Experience cow farm on October 5th and 6th. A good opportunity to discover the visits to the Llet Nostra de Monells cow farm. During the tour that will be offered, you will be able to:
- Visit some spaces on the usual farm tour and discover what is hidden behind a good glass of milk.
- Live an immersive experience meeting the protagonists in the milk production process.
- Enjoy a tasting of Llet Nostra product.
- Participate in a milking contest* with a Llet Nostra prize, (* with a cardboard cow).

The first part of the tour will be a walking tour through a farm with a traditional, family and sustainable model, but at the same time with all the infrastructure and technology necessary for the process.
Learn
Then you will go to the immersive audiovisual space where you will have the opportunity to talk to a farmer, a veterinarian and a researcher who will explain a lot of very interesting things about the world of cows, fields, milk…
Taste
Finally, you will taste the unique cow’s milk from Catalonia… you will discover curiosities about its color, smell and taste of milk… you will put all your senses to the test to finish enjoying some delicious desserts from Llet Nostra.
Where is the Aprop Experience of Llet Nostra organized?
The #APROP Experience of Llet Nostra is organized in a farm located in Monells, in the Baix Empordà. To get there, check the exact location on Google Maps from the Llet Nostra website.
Once you arrive at the site you will find the “Meeting Point” in the same parking lot. The person who will accompany you during the visit will pick you up at this point. In the meantime, you can spend some time in the recreation and picnic area.
