A couple of Saturdays ago we were in the Public Library of Josep Pons, in a session of “dual” storytelling: orally and in sign language.
This activity is part of the initiative “Visquem els Contes” (we live the fairytales), an activity that organizes monthly the Library Josep Pons where everyone is invited.
The session “Fairytales explained with the hands” was a success. The children zone of the library was full of families wanting to enjoy a good storytelling session.
The kids were amazed watching or listening to fairytales narrated by Gloria in such an expressive way.
In the storytelling session we learned clapping in sign language.
Upon arriving home, we entered in the website of the Association of Parents of Deaf Children of Catalunya, APANSCE, and we downloaded this postcard so as to learn more letters in sign language.
CAN BATLLÓ
The Library Josep Pons is currently the largest, most versatile library and with the largest self-managed document base in Catalonia. It has a big area for children and youths, parents corner, children tables and chairs, free wifi and a new bathroom suitable for disabled persons.
It is located in the Campus Batllò Can, a venue that we love and that we have already published a post about HERE.

Besos
